We are going to Greece this spring any ideas for GF food & restaurants?
I have lived and worked in Greece for the last three years. Generally speaking you shouldn't have much trouble finding 'gluten-free' food when out and about. Although you may find it hard to find commercial products in the supermarkets, restaurants provide a variety of choice. All fried foods will be cooked in fresh olive oil (still best to check) and dishes such as salads and fish are totally fine. Any meat dish will normally be served with chips or salad but both are perfectly ok and natural.
They will always insist on providing bread at the start of the meal, just aviod this. The schnizel and any burger if not home-made would not be gluten free.
